SOCHQ is a security operations center for families and small business — built by engineers who run the enterprise SOCs that protect companies around the clock. We took the same monitoring, threat intelligence, and detection and translated it out of jargon, for the people who never had a security team.

Who builds SOCHQ

SOCHQ is built and operated by a team that works in the managed-security industry — the people who design, run, and staff the security operations centers businesses rely on to watch their networks 24/7. We do this work for a living. SOCHQ exists to bring that same protection to the two places it never reached: the family home and the small business that can't afford an enterprise security team.

What a SOC actually does, we do here. Enterprise security teams watch every device on a network, enrich what they see with live threat intelligence, detect attacker behavior — not just known viruses — and act fast when something is wrong. SOCHQ runs that same playbook:

We cite the people who'd know. Our guidance draws on primary, authoritative sources — the FBI and IC3, NCMEC, the FTC, CISA, and industry research — and we point to them so you can verify it yourself.
