Fake Amazon Website Stealing Login & Payment Details

A website disguised as Amazon is actively tricking people into entering their login credentials and payment information. Children and teens who shop or have Amazon accounts could be targeted.

What to do: Warn your family to only access Amazon through the official site (amazon.com) and never click shopping links from emails, texts, or social media without verifying the web address first.

What this means for your family

Scammers have created fake Amazon websites that look real but steal your passwords and credit card information when you log in. Your kids could accidentally land on one through a suspicious link in an email or text, putting your family's accounts and money at risk. Make sure everyone knows to type amazon.com directly into their browser or use the official app, and never click links from messages claiming to be from Amazon.
