Fake Apple/iOS Website Stealing Login Info

A confirmed scam website is pretending to be an Apple account or iOS service page to trick people into handing over their passwords or personal details. Children and teens who use iPhones or iPads could be targeted.

What to do: Warn your kids never to click links about Apple accounts sent via text, email, or chat — always go directly to apple.com and never enter passwords on unfamiliar sites.

What this means for your family

If your kids use iPhones or iPads, they could accidentally land on a fake Apple website through a text or email link and give away their password without realizing it. Once someone has that password, they can access photos, messages, and payment information. Teach them to ignore unexpected links about accounts and always type apple.com directly into the browser instead.
