Fake Apple Sign-In Page Stealing Passwords

A confirmed phishing website is impersonating Apple to trick people into entering their Apple ID and password. If a family member clicks this link and logs in, attackers can take over their Apple account, including purchases, photos, and iCloud data.

What to do: Warn your family never to click unexpected links asking for Apple sign-in — always go directly to apple.com — and if anyone entered their password on an unfamiliar site, change the Apple ID password immediately at appleid.apple.com.

What this means for your family

If someone in your family clicked a link that looked like Apple's login page and entered their password, their Apple account is now at risk. Attackers could access photos, purchases, and personal data stored in iCloud. Have anyone who did this change their Apple ID password right away by going directly to appleid.apple.com, and remind everyone to always type apple.com into the browser themselves rather than clicking links in emails or texts.
