Fake Apple Support Website Stealing Login Details

A fraudulent website is impersonating Apple Support to trick people into handing over their Apple ID credentials. If anyone in your family clicks this link, their Apple account could be hijacked.

What to do: Do not click any links claiming to be Apple Support unless you go directly to apple.com — warn older children and family members never to enter their Apple ID or password on unfamiliar sites.

What this means for your family

If someone in your family gets a link claiming to be Apple Support, it's likely a trap designed to steal their Apple ID password. Once a scammer has that, they can access photos, emails, and payment information linked to that account. Always go directly to apple.com in your browser instead of clicking links, and remind everyone that Apple will never ask for passwords through unexpected messages.
