Fake Apple Support Website Stealing Passwords

Scammers have set up a fake website pretending to be Apple support to trick people into handing over their Apple ID and password. If anyone in your family clicks this link, their Apple account could be hijacked.

What to do: Warn your family never to click links claiming to be Apple support unless they come directly from apple.com — if you or your child received this link, do not visit it and delete the message immediately.

What this means for your family

If someone in your family gets a link claiming to be Apple support, it's almost certainly a scam—delete it right away. Clicking it could let scammers steal your Apple ID and access everything connected to it, including photos, emails, and payment information. Only trust Apple support links you find by going directly to apple.com yourself, never by clicking a message.
