Fake Apple Support Website Stealing Passwords

A confirmed fake website is impersonating Apple to trick people into handing over their Apple ID login details. If your child or anyone in your family clicks this link, their Apple account could be hijacked.

What to do: Do not click any link claiming to be Apple support unless you go directly to apple.com yourself, and remind your kids never to enter passwords on sites sent via text, email, or pop-up.

What this means for your family

If someone in your family gets a text or email claiming to be Apple support with a link, don't click it—go straight to apple.com instead. Scammers are using fake Apple pages to steal passwords, which would let them access photos, contacts, and payment info linked to your family's account. Teach your kids never to enter passwords from links they receive, even if they look official.
