Fake Apple website stealing passwords

A fraudulent website is impersonating Apple to trick people into handing over their Apple ID login details. Families are at risk because children and parents often use Apple devices and accounts for purchases, apps, and iCloud data.

What to do: Do not click any links claiming to be from Apple unless you typed apple.com yourself — always go directly to apple.com to manage your account.

What this means for your family

If someone in your family gets an email or text claiming to be from Apple asking you to log in, don't click the link. Instead, go directly to apple.com in your browser or open the Apple app yourself. Scammers are creating fake Apple websites to steal passwords, which would let them access your family's photos, purchases, and payment information.
