Fake Discord Update Link Is a Scam

A fake website is pretending to be a Discord update page to steal login details from users, including kids and teens who use Discord to chat and game with friends. Clicking the link could give scammers access to your child's account.

What to do: Warn your children never to click Discord links sent in messages or found outside the official Discord website or app, and remind them that real updates happen automatically inside the app.

What this means for your family

If your kids use Discord to chat with friends, watch out for messages with links claiming to be Discord updates—they're fake and designed to steal passwords. Real Discord updates happen automatically in the app itself, so if someone sends a link, it's a scam. Remind your children to ignore these messages and only access Discord through the official app or website.
