Fake Discord Update Page Stealing Logins

A fake website is pretending to show Discord patch notes to trick users into giving away their login details. Kids and teens who use Discord are likely targets of this scam.

What to do: Tell your children never to click links claiming to be Discord updates unless they come directly from discord.com, and check that their Discord account has two-factor authentication enabled.

What this means for your family

Your kids might see a link claiming to be a Discord update, but it's actually a fake website designed to steal their password. If they log in there, someone could take over their account and pretend to be them online. Make sure they only update Discord through the official app or discord.com directly, and turn on two-factor authentication so their account stays protected even if a password gets compromised.
