Fake Habbo Hotel site tries to steal kids' login details

A fake website pretending to offer free Habbo credits was confirmed as a phishing scam designed to steal children's Habbo account usernames and passwords. If a child visited this site and entered their details, their account could be compromised.

What to do: Ask your child if they have visited any site promising free Habbo credits, and if so, log into Habbo immediately to change their password and check account activity.

What this means for your family

If your child plays Habbo Hotel, they may have stumbled on a fake site offering free credits. If they entered their login information there, someone could access their account and change their password or spend virtual items. Have a quick chat with them about where they found it, then help them change their Habbo password right away and check if anything looks unusual in their account.
