Fake Habbo Hotel site tries to steal kids' login details

A scam website pretending to offer free Habbo credits was confirmed as a phishing page designed to steal children's usernames and passwords. If a child visited this link and entered their details, their Habbo account could be compromised.

What to do: Ask your child if they have visited any sites promising free Habbo credits, and if so, change their Habbo password immediately and check that the same password isn't used on other accounts.

What this means for your family

If your child plays Habbo Hotel, they may have encountered a fake website offering free credits that actually steals login information. Check with them about any suspicious sites they've visited, then change their Habbo password right away and make sure they're not using that same password elsewhere—this protects their other accounts too.
