Fake iCloud Website Stealing Apple Passwords

A fraudulent website is impersonating Apple's iCloud to trick people into entering their Apple ID and password. If a family member clicks this link and logs in, criminals can take over their Apple account.

What to do: Warn your children never to click links claiming to be iCloud unless the address ends in apple.com, and enable two-factor authentication on all family Apple accounts now.

What this means for your family

If someone in your family clicks a link to a fake Apple website and enters their password, criminals can lock them out of their iPhone, iPad, or Mac—and access their photos, messages, and payment information. Make sure everyone knows to only log into Apple through official apple.com links, and turn on two-factor authentication so even a stolen password can't compromise the account.
