Fake iCloud Website Stealing Apple Passwords

A fraudulent website is impersonating Apple's iCloud to trick people into entering their Apple ID and password. If a family member clicks this link and logs in, attackers can take over their Apple account.

What to do: Warn your family never to click iCloud or Apple links in emails or texts — always go directly to icloud.com — and enable two-factor authentication on all Apple accounts.

What this means for your family

If someone in your family gets an email or text with an Apple or iCloud link, don't click it — go directly to icloud.com instead. Fake websites look real but steal your password, giving hackers access to your photos, emails, and payment info. Turn on two-factor authentication (a second login step) on everyone's Apple accounts to stay safe.
