Fake 'Locate My Phone' Website Stealing Info

A website pretending to help locate a phone is actually a confirmed phishing page designed to trick people into handing over personal information. Children or parents searching for phone-tracking tools could accidentally land on it.

What to do: Do not visit or click any link to 'locmy-phone.us', and remind your children to only use official apps like Find My (Apple) or Google Find My Device for phone tracking.

What this means for your family

If someone in your family loses their phone and searches online for help finding it, they might accidentally land on a fake website that looks real but actually steals passwords and personal information. Stick to the official apps that came with your phone—Apple's Find My or Google Find My Device—and teach your kids to ask you before clicking links about phone tracking.
