Fake login page stealing passwords

A fraudulent website disguised as a legitimate login page has been confirmed as active and is designed to steal usernames and passwords from anyone who visits it. If a family member clicks a link leading to this site, their account credentials could be compromised immediately.

What to do: Warn your family never to click unfamiliar links in emails or messages, and if anyone visited this site, change their passwords right away on any accounts that may share the same credentials.

What this means for your family

If someone in your family clicks a suspicious link and enters their password on a fake login page, a scammer could access their email, social media, or banking accounts. The best protection is teaching everyone to type website addresses directly into their browser instead of clicking links in emails or texts, and if anyone thinks they visited a fake site, change passwords immediately on all important accounts.
