Fake Sign-In Page Stealing Passwords

A fraudulent website is disguised as a legitimate login page to trick people into handing over their usernames and passwords. If anyone in your family clicks a link leading here, their account credentials could be stolen immediately.

What to do: Never click unfamiliar links in emails or texts — go directly to official websites by typing the address yourself, and if you or your child may have entered login details on an unexpected page, change those passwords right away.

What this means for your family

If someone in your family gets tricked into entering their password on a fake website, a scammer could access their email, social media, or bank account. The best protection is teaching everyone to type website addresses directly into the browser instead of clicking links in messages, and to change any passwords they may have accidentally shared.
