Fake Spotify Login Page Stealing Passwords

Scammers have set up a fake Spotify website designed to trick users into entering their username and password, which are then stolen. Teens and kids who use Spotify are common targets of these 'rejoin' or 'free premium' lures.

What to do: Warn your children never to click Spotify links in emails or messages — always go directly to spotify.com in the browser, and check that saved Spotify passwords are changed if they may have been entered on an unfamiliar site.

What this means for your family

Scammers are creating fake Spotify pages that look real to steal login passwords, especially targeting kids with offers of free premium access. If your child uses Spotify, remind them to never click links in emails or texts — instead, always type spotify.com directly into their browser. If they've entered their password anywhere suspicious, change it right away to keep their account and any linked payment information safe.
