Fake TikTok Shop Website Stealing Personal Info

A fake website pretending to be TikTok Shop is actively tricking people into handing over personal or payment details. Kids and teens who use TikTok may be lured to this site through links in videos, messages, or ads.

What to do: Warn your children never to click shopping links from TikTok messages or comments — only shop through the official TikTok app or tiktok.com, and report any suspicious links to you immediately.

What this means for your family

Scammers have created a fake TikTok Shop website that looks real but steals payment and personal information from anyone who shops there. Your kids could accidentally land on it through links in videos or messages, so teach them to only shop directly through the official TikTok app and to tell you right away if someone sends them a shopping link.
